  1. Hi there and thank you so much for these great code,

I just had a quick question is it possible to just load only 1 background of the slideshow for every refresh instead of having it as a slideshow?
It would be better for the page load time as well.

    Thanks🙏

    1. Hey Chris!

Had to read several times to understand what you were asking... Now I think I got it: You don't want a background slideshow, you want a random background image, from a preselected set of images.

This is possible, however not with the current tutorial, and it is not the intention of the current tutorial...

It's a good idea for a new tutorial though (that would be free).

I will try to write it soon.

      Cheers!

      1. That's great thank you so much. I'm looking forward to it. Can you please link it up to your response?

      1. Could you confirm that it never happens if the code isn't there?

      2. Would it be possible that you have a quick look ?
Its annoying to find a white page on the landing page.

It would be greatly appreciated !
        Christopher

  2. Sorry for the late reply I didn't see your message before !
No it want happening before !

Maybe if we do this code:
Had to read several times to understand what you were asking... Now I think I got it: You don't want a background slideshow, you want a random background image, from a preselected set of images.

This is possible, however not with the current tutorial, and it is not the intention of the current tutorial...

I will try to write it soon."

Maybe that will work better ?

    ☺️

    Thx

  3. Hi, is it possible to get this to work with a dynamic tag to an ACF gallery?

I purchased this with the presumption that this would work but whenever I use the dynamic tag no images load.

    Many thanks

    1. Hey George!

This tutorials intents is simply to modify the native Elementor Background image slider, by randomizing the slides.

If the Elementor background slider isn't working, this tutorial won't fix it / add functionality to it (such as add ACF support).

If I understood you correctly. If you are instead saying that with my code in place, the background slider, fed by ACF, breaks, then please share your URL with me, I will have a look.

      Cheers!
